SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Orion Windows are a leading installer of conservatories, orangeries, double glazing windows, living spaces and doors throughout Yorkshire.  At Orion Windows, our focus is to deliver an exceptional service to our customers.  To support our ongoing business growth, we have several self-employed or employed opportunities available for experienced Sales Administrators.

At Orion Windows it is important to us that we deliver an exceptional service to our customers. To achieve this, it is vital that we have Sales Administrators who are quality focused, experienced, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working under the direction of the Head of Sales and supported by the Sales Manager at our York Showroom, you will represent the company by being the first point of contact to customers, both on the telephone and face to face in our showroom and offering the highest level of customer service. You will also provide a range of administration and facility support across the business where required.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will represent the business with a positive attitude and appearance.
  • Be first contact for the customer welcoming them to the showroom in person and on the telephone.
  • Ensure the showroom to ensure it is always tidy and presentable.
  • Monitor visitors’ access and maintain a security awareness.
  • To answer phone calls in a timely and polite manner, screening calls, referring enquiries, and taking and relaying messages where necessary.
  • Provide customer support answering questions and providing information about products and services.
  • To provide basic cashiering duties – taking payments both in person and by telephone.
  • Issuing various correspondence and documents for customers.
  • To be Responsible for maintaining security procedures, securing the premises at the end of the day.
  • To be conscientious in adding and maintaining information on the company’s database.
  • Be responsible for maintaining and organising promotional information on display in the showroom.
  • Be reactive to receiving customer enquiries from email, inputting to our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and calling the customer to convert to a Sales Appointment.
  • To send out text reminders of appointments daily to customers and inputting data of sales enquiries from the previous evening.
  • To promptly email sales quotations out to customers, answering any questions they may have.
  • To call customers on hold awaiting installation dates or where deposits are due.
  • Ensuring all information required for contracts is provided by the Sales Representatives then inputting and doc-uploading details onto our CRM system.
  • To be vigilant when logging all contract variations and ensuring the finances are correct on the database.
  • Providing a clerical support to the sales team and co-ordinating activities

You Will Have

At Unity Home Improvements, it’s important that we deliver exceptional service to our customers. To support our ongoing business growth, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team as Proactive Marketers.

As a Proactive Marketer, you will be highly driven, determined to succeed, flexible, and able to deliver exception customer service. Role responsibilities include:

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighbourhoods.
• Engage with homeowners about our products/services and answer any questions they may have.
• Collect contact information and other relevant data for our lead database.
• Distribute promotional materials and provide information on special offers or upcoming events.
• Arrange appointments for sales consultants following successful lead.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for lead generation.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

In return we off a generous basic wage and great rates of pitch payments. No experience is required, full training will be provided.

Orion Windows has recently recruited a new management team. To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for experienced, reliable Self-Employed Conservatory Fitters to support in the installations to customers’ homes.

In these customer facing roles, you will be expected to support the reputation of the Orion brand and provide our customers with an excellent fitting experience.

FINANACE ASSISTANT

Finance Assistant – Orion Home Improvements Ltd

Orion Windows are the York’s leading installer of Orangeries, Conservatories, Garden Rooms, Glazed Extensions and Windows and Doors.  We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our team. This current role will be working primarily from our fabulous York Showroom and covering the surrounding North Yorkshire area.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a high attention to detail to carry out the day-to-day finance processes; ensuring that timely and accurate information is available.

This candidate will report to both the Regional Finance Manager, who will provide support and assistance, as well as to the local Management Team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Full management of the day-to-day transactional accounting – including
    • Daily bank reconciliations
    • Purchase ledger and sales ledger
    • Weekly CIS
    • Job costings
  • Preparation of KPIs
  • Cash flow management
  • Ad hoc projects and duties as required

Required attributes

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role
  • Experience of Sage line 50 and Sage payroll is desired
  • Previous knowledge of CIS would be advantageous
  • Experience of using AdminBase, or similar job-costing software is desirable
  • Knowledge of the home improvement industry / construction would be advantageous;
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages with previous experience of working on excel and the ability to type accurately with good attention to detail.
  • The ability to demonstrate effective time management and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • A highly motivated individual with a can-do approach to work and the ability to get the job done in the required timescale.
