Plain Glass Roof – The neutral tint of clear glass allows a high degree of light transmission and a slightly lower degree of solar reflection than coloured tints. For this reason clear glass is often used for North facing conservatories, where it is beneficial to permit a little more external light and warmth into the room. The impressive 1.0 W/m²K u-value serves to retain internal warmth and maintain a comfortable room temperature.

Blue Coloured Glass Roof – Augment your views of the summer skies with Orion Windows’ blue tint of glass. In terms of solar heat reflection, blue glass sits in between the likes of aqua and bronze at 62% and, likewise, it offers an average degree of light transmission, making it a good ‘all-round’ glass option.
