With an index rating of A+21, our 36mm triple glazed windows are official classified as an A++ (Plus-Plus) window by the recently revised Window Energy Rating (WER) scheme. U-Value is a different measure of a windows performance and this separate metric concerns itself solely with the amount of heat lost through a window - the lower the U-value figure the better the window is at acting as an insulator for your home. As a result of a third pane of glass, a second insulating compartment is created within the unit, and whilst the appearance is almost identical to double glazed products, our triple glazed A+21 Windows have a U-Value of just 1.0 w/m²K, making them more efficient and ideal for properties in extremely cold regions.
