FENSA

FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) was established in 2002 by the Glass and Glazing Federation and is a Competent Person Scheme.

There are other Competent Person Schemes out there, but FENSA is the most high-profile of them.

All the installers that are accepted on to the scheme are the best of the best, an elite group of home improvement specialists.

When we applied to become a FENSA approved installer, we had to pass a series of tough tests under the watchful eye of a FENSA assessor and work in compliance with Building Regulations.

Even after impressing enough to secure member status, we are still regularly vetted and must maintain the highest of standards to retain our membership, with the same going for all other members. If FENSA decrees that our standards have dipped, they can withdraw our membership.

Because we work to building regulations, we can certify any window or door installation with your local authority on your behalf – a legal requirement.

Non-FENSA members can’t do this and you will be left to sort it yourself.
